‘Let your light shine’

I am considered a fairly new addition to the crystal world, discovered in 2017. My appearance is rock like until I am placed under UV light when I glow a contrasting  warm orange and yellow colour. This illumination is the inclusion of fluorescent sodalite. For this reason I possess properties similar to sodalite, known as a throat chakra crystal encouraging honest kind speech and the ability to add value by voicing your truth. 

I am a combination of grey coloured granite stone featuring cleansing clear quartz, protecting black tourmaline and creative copper coloured feldspar. When you see small shimmering flecks on my surface this is the inclusion of balancing hematite.

Work with me to calm the mind, finding order and rational thought to objectively verbalise feelings, welcoming emotional balance to situations. I aim to assist with releasing anger and negative thoughts, highlighting logic and clarity. Trust in your intuition, allowing your internal glow to shine through highlighting your acceptance of yourself and others differences. I aim to enhance your feelings of self esteem, self acceptance and self trust.

Shape: Heart - the universal symbol of love, designed to welcome pure thoughts into your space.

Colour: Yooperlite is a dark greyish stone similar to granite with inclusions of clear quartz, black tourmaline and copper coloured feldspar. Glows orange or yellow under UV light.  Grey - diplomacy, compromise and balance. Orange - positivity, passion, enthusiasm.

Chakra: Throat - the fifth chakra located at the base of the throat. This chakra is responsible for communication, self-expression, and the ability to speak your personal truth. When aligned brings the feeling of freedom and empowerment to understand the authentic self.

Intention: For added meaning set an intention to your piece or use a mantra such as ‘I speak honestly and without judgment as I am at peace with myself’ or ‘I am ready to highlight my true authentic self’. 

Country of origin: USA, specifically Lake Superior near Michigan.

Measurement: 6cm width, 5cm length, 2cm thickness approximately.

Interesting: The name Yooperlite is an abbreviation of ‘U.P.’ for Michigan's Upper Peninsula. ‘Yoopers’ are the area's colloquial citizenry. ‘Lite’ refers to the rock's fluorescent properties from sodalite.

Please be aware each piece is made from natural stones and has been hand carved and polished. The item you are sent may vary slightly from the one pictured although will always be similar. Natural markings and crevices may be present.

Cleansed with Palo Santo & charged under the full moon.
