Interesting: The golden sheen reflection is a result of very small inclusions of water vapor in the form of bubbles that are trapped in the black glass like obsidian stone. This reflective quality is why it was one of the first stones used in self-reflective meditation, internal growth and self-understanding.

Purchase is for one golden sheen obsidian clam shell unless multiple are selected. The one you are sent may differ slightly from the one photographed although we do our best to keep our stock consistent. Due to the hand carved nature of these pieces some may not be perfectly symmetrical & artesian scraping marks may be visible inside the opening.
